Brad Pike

operations Manager

Brad Pike is a proud native of St. Louis, Missouri. He went to the University of Kansas for two years, studying Business Management and Psychology. Feeling moved to broaden his perspective, he became a missionary with Christ in the City, which is a Catholic organization with a mission to know, love, and serve those members of the Denver community experiencing homelessness. This was Brad’s first introduction to Network. After leaving school and remaining with Christ in the City for two years, Brad began doing outreach for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. In this role, Brad frequented the Network to connect with clients and fell in love with the mission and community that was built there. He felt welcome, safe, and at home in a role that typically provided many uncomfortable situations. Brad has a passion for allowing all people to be seen, have their stories heard, and know that their presence matters. Outside of this passion, Brad enjoys playing basketball and guitar, building community with friends, reading a good book, and practicing his Catholic faith. You can contact Brad here

Banjo

Resident Therapy Dog & Cheif Canine Officer

Banjo is trained in therapy dog duties and enjoys spending her time with anyone who offers to pet her. She provides staff and guests with smiles and encouragement, especially when they have treats. Banjo is a gentle soul who helps us welcome all to Network.

Ian Stitt

Executive director

Ian Stitt, Network’s current Executive Director, started volunteering on a shift in 2021 and soon became a Shift Director, running the Wednesday night shift. In October 2023, Ryan felt the time was right to pass Network’s leadership on to Ian, entrusting him with the next chapter of the Coffee House’s future. Ian comes to Network with seven years of experience in providing homeless services in Denver in several capacities, bringing critical and up-to-date knowledge of local service opportunities to the organization. Prior to joining Network, Ian was a street outreach worker providing service to those experiencing unsheltered homelessness and most recently managed Saint Francis Center’s Safe Outdoor Space program from its inception in 2021, helping to stabilize and house many of Network’s most notorious and long-standing guests. Beyond his passion for working with our unhoused community members, Ian brings along his dog Banjo. Banjo is a therapy dog by training and can be found wandering the coffee house, welcoming community members, and asking folks for attention and love. You can contact Ian here.

Katy Owens

Communications Manager

Katy came to Network in 2014, drawn by its focus on presence and relationships that differed from the hierarchical evangelical spaces they experienced in church. Since then, Katy has left religious spaces behind and remains passionate about centering empathy and kinship. Outside of Network, she has worked for different nonprofits in the homelessness response system, allowing her to build connections with other service providers and advocate for Network guests. Katy’s focus on creativity includes writing, photography, and artwork, which they contribute to Network through social media, writing, and communication. You can contact Katy here and follow their work here
